This is an older carving by Sheldon Harvey. The circles remind one of the corn patterns that are on many carvings by Native Americans. The shape of this figure resembles older style figures from the late 1800s. Many Native American artists create pieces that depict supernatural beings instead of actual individuals. This is a wonderful piece and is accented with colorful feathers.
